About this policy

Exploit Technology operates this website to explain its security assessment services and share articles and a sample report. This policy covers website visits and initial contact. Information supplied during a client assessment is handled under the arrangements agreed for that engagement.

You can read the site and download the sample report without accepting analytics. The site has no contact-submission form, booking form, checkout, or visitor file-upload feature.

Information needed to serve the website

When your browser requests a page or file, our hosting and network providers receive technical request information, such as an IP address, the requested address, and browser request details. They may process operational information to deliver the site, maintain service reliability, and protect the service. This technical processing is separate from optional Google Analytics and still occurs if you decline analytics.

If you access a private preview that requires a hosting-provider sign-in, that provider also handles the information needed to authenticate your access.

Google Analytics, with your permission

On our public website, we use Google Analytics 4 after you choose Accept analytics. It helps us understand which pages and resources are useful and improve the website. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded before acceptance, and analytics is disabled on private preview addresses.

After acceptance, Google Analytics can use cookies and browser identifiers to distinguish visits and sessions. Measurement can include page visits, interaction timing, referring-site information, browser and device information, and approximate location derived from network information. We also measure clicks on our phone and sample-report links. A phone-link event records the click, not the content of a call or whether a call connected.

The website’s analytics configuration excludes query strings and page fragments from the page address it supplies to Google and limits supplied referrer information to the referring site’s origin. Our custom click events do not include your name, email address, telephone number, or the contents of an inquiry. Analytics identifiers can still be personal information; this is not a claim that all measurement is anonymous.

Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in the website’s analytics configuration. The site does not include advertising pixels or remarketing tags.

Cookies and your choices

Use Decline analytics to browse without optional analytics. On the public website, open Analytics preferences in the footer to change your choice at any time. The preference applies to the browser and site address where you make it.

  • Preference storage: we store your acceptance or refusal in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember it. The site sets no automatic expiry for that preference. Clearing site data, using a different browser, or visiting another site address can cause the preference to be requested again.
  • Analytics cookies: after acceptance, Google Analytics can set first-party cookies, including _ga and a cookie whose name begins _ga_, to distinguish browsers and maintain session information. Cookie duration depends on Analytics settings and browser limits. See Google’s cookie documentation.
  • Withdrawal: declining after acceptance disables analytics collection on the current page and on subsequent visits in this browser at this site address. Reload any other open tabs to apply the new choice there. It does not remove existing cookies or delete information already sent to Google. You can remove existing cookies and local storage through your browser’s site-data controls. Clearing the preference alone is not a request to delete previously collected data.

When you contact us

The phone link opens your device’s calling application. If you call or leave a message, the information available for responding may include your phone number, name, and any details you choose to provide. That information supports your inquiry and discussion of a potential engagement. Your calling application and communications provider also process information under their own terms.

Please keep passwords, credentials, patient information, payment data, and confidential system details out of initial inquiries. If sensitive information is needed for an engagement, discuss an appropriate way to share it first.

Service providers and retention

Information is handled by the providers involved in the relevant activity: hosting and network providers for website delivery, Google for analytics you accept, and communications providers when you call. Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Browser preferences remain until changed or cleared. Analytics data retention depends on the settings of our Google Analytics property and Google’s service rules; aggregated reporting can be retained separately from individual user and event data.
